RTD will temporarily relocate bus stops from Coffman to Bross streets in Longmont

On May 26, the Regional Transportation District (RTD) will move all bus stops currently on 8th Avenue and Coffman Street to a temporary location directly across Roosevelt Park on 8th Avenue and Bross Street. The temporary relocation of stops is part of the City of Longmont’s Coffman Street Mobility Improvements Project.

The temporary location will continue to serve the following routes: BOLT, LD1, LD3, 323, 324, 326 and 327. A temporary RTD FlexRide stop will be located on the south side of Roosevelt Park on Long’s Peak Avenue at Pratt Street. The RTD Park-n-Ride lot at 8th Avenue and Coffman Street will remain open during construction.

To reach the temporary stops from 8th Avenue and Coffman Street, walk west through the Park-n-Ride and along the pedestrian path. RTD customers are encouraged to plan extra time to get from the Park-n-Ride to the new stops on Bross Street.

The temporary location will remain in place until the opening of the CO 119 BRT corridor, currently slated for May 2027.
