RTD Free MallRide will temporarily detour April 23-26 around utility work on 16th Street Mall
Beginning April 23, and lasting through April 26, the RTD Free MallRide shuttle will be detoured to 15th and 17th streets between Wynkoop and Larimer streets with temporary stops near Blake and Market streets. The shuttle will travel on 16th Street for three blocks between Larimer and Curtis streets and return to 15th and 17th streets between Curtis Street and Civic Center Station. Flaggers and signage will direct travelers to the detoured route.

After this, the MallRide shuttles will return to normal operation on 16th Street between Wynkoop and Curtis Streets. Shuttles will continue to be rerouted to 15th and 17th streets between Curtis Street and Civic Center Station. For more information, visit the RTD's Free MallRide detours page.

In addition, there will be a single, left-lane closure on Larimer Street, just north of 16th Street, to accommodate the turning radius of the RTD Free MallRide shuttles beginning April 23 and lasting approximately five days. Two southbound lanes will remain open.
