Rad Things (to) Do - March 2025
March in Denver is like opening a pack of Starburst—you never know what you're going to get. It might be filled with the crowd-favorite strawberry and orange flavors, much like the warm, springlike days that start to appear. Or, it could be packed with nothing but cherry and lemon (author’s note: Lemon is the best flavor and that’s just a fact), representing the surprise snowstorms and blustery cold fronts that are known to blast through the city this time of the year. Regardless of the weather, one thing is certain: This March is packed to the brim with incredible concerts and sporting events. Get out and check out this month’s Rad Things (to) Do!
Featured events, festivals and parades
March 7: The Price Is Right Live at the Paramount Theatre
For many Generation Xers, Millennials and Gen Zs growing up, there were three staples of a sick day as a kid: Campbell’s chicken noodle soup, Canada Dry ginger ale and The Price Is Right airing on the local CBS station. Now, everyone will have a chance to fulfill the dream of having their name selected with the words, “Come on down! You are the next contestant on The Price Is Right,” on March 7 at the Paramount Theatre. Take the Free MallRide to 17th Street and Glenarm Place and relive those childhood sick days in person, without the whole being sick thing going on.

Once the hardwood freezes over, the Colorado Avalanche, with players Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon coming fresh off winning the 4 Nations Face-Off championship for Canada, continue to make a strong case for the Stanley Cup Playoffs at home with NINE home games this month.
Between March Madness, the Nuggets and the Avalanche, there will be sports at the Ball Arena virtually every single day this month, and RTD is ready to get sports fans to the games.
