Saturday work to impact RTD light rail service on E and R lines
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, RTD will perform maintenance that will impact light rail service on the E Line between Arapahoe at Village Center and Southmoor stations, and on the R Line between Lincoln and Dayton stations. Bus shuttles will provide service for both lines to help customers impacted by the work.
E Line customers:
Northbound: Board a bus shuttle at Arapahoe at Village Center Station; board the E Line at Southmoor Station
Southbound: Board a bus shuttle at Southmoor Station; board the E Line at Arapahoe at Village Center Station
R Line customers:
Northbound: Board the E Line at Lincoln, County Line or Dry Creek stations; board a bus shuttle at Arapahoe at Village Center Station; transfer to the H Line at Southmoor Station; transfer to the R Line at Dayton Station
Southbound: Transfer to the H Line at Dayton Station; board a bus shuttle at Southmoor Station; transfer to the E Line at Arapahoe at Village Center Station
From these stations, board a bus shuttle at the following locations:
- Arapahoe at Village Center: Gate F
- Orchard: Gate B (northbound) and Gate C (southbound)
- Belleview: Gate A
- Southmoor: Gate A
During the work, service on the E Line will continue to operate between Southmoor and Union Station and between Arapahoe at Village Center and RidgeGate Parkway stations, and the R Line will continue to operate between Dayton and Peoria stations.
Customers should anticipate delays and are encouraged to consider alternate routes if their trips are affected by the rail closure. Work is weather dependent. Be sure to check the service disruptions webpage before you travel.
Per federal mandate that has been extended through March 18, a mask is required while riding on or waiting for RTD vehicles, including while outside on agency property.
