RTD to operate bus shuttle service Oct. 15-17 for E and R lines during wire replacement at Belleview Station

RTD will operate bus shuttle service for E and R lines Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 15-17, between Southmoor and Arapahoe stations as crews replace overhead wires at Belleview Station. During the three-day planned maintenance window, crews will replace the overhead wires that provide power to RTD’s light rail trains.

R Line trains will operate scheduled service between Peoria and Nine Mile stations. Bus shuttles will operate between Southmoor and Arapahoe at Village Center stations. R Line customers will need to use H Line trains to access bus shuttles at Southmoor Station and E Line trains to access bus shuttles at Arapahoe at Village Center Station. Bus Route AT is also available between Arapahoe at Village Center and Nine Mile stations.

Boarding for bus shuttles will take place at the following station locations:

• Arapahoe at Village Center Station – Gate F
• Orchard Station – Gate B (yellow bus shuttle sign)
• Belleview Station – Gate A
• Southmoor Station – Gate A

E and H line trains will operate scheduled service north of Southmoor Station. Full service returns to the E and R lines on Friday, Oct. 18.

Temporary speed restrictions at isolated sections of the light rail network are currently causing moderate end-to-end trip delays for customers. Customers should anticipate additional delays during the wire replacement. Work is temperature and weather dependent.
