Bus shuttles to replace a portion of W Line service Oct. 26 between Decatur•Federal and Auraria West stations

RTD will replace a portion of W Line light rail service with bus shuttles on Saturday, Oct. 26, 5 a.m.- 7 p.m. Bus shuttle service will run between Decatur•Federal and Auraria West stations as crews complete an inspection of the rail bridge over the Platte River. Customers will board bus shuttles at the following locations:

  • Decatur·Federal Station – Gate A
  • Auraria West Station – board next to the rail platform

W Line trains will operate between Jefferson County Government Center•Golden and Decatur•Federal stations.

PLEASE NOTE: No W Line trains will operate east of Decatur•Federal Station. Customers will need to use the bus shuttle and take the E Line to travel between Auraria West Station and Union Station.

Scheduled service will return by 7 p.m. Oct. 26 to the entirety of the W Line, between Union Station and Jefferson County Government Center•Golden Station.

Customers whose trips are impacted by the temporary rail disruption should plan extra time for bus shuttle transfers. Customers are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride web app to plan their trip, view other options and receive Service Alerts.
