Saturday work to affect RTD rail service June 1 on A Line

A portion of the Regional Transportation District (RTD)A Line service will be replaced by shuttle buses on Saturday, June 1, 3:16 a.m.-6:46 p.m. between Peoria and Denver Airport stations.

RTD will perform maintenance on the I-70 bridge near Peña Boulevard and the overhead lines that power the agency’s commuter rail trains.

A Line trains will operate as scheduled between Denver Union and Peoria stations. Bus shuttle service will be offered between Peoria and Denver Airport Stations at the following locations:

Station and Bus Shuttle Gate

Peoria Station, Gate E

40th Avenue and Airport•Gateway Park, Gate A

61st•Peña, Board next to the platform

Denver Airport (Transit Center-Level 1), Gate 7 (departures); Gate 6 (arrivals)

Rail service to the airport will resume following completion of the work. The first train with continuous service to Denver Airport Station departs Union Station at 7:00 p.m. The first train with continuous service to Union Station departs Denver Airport Station at 7:57 p.m.
