RTD partners with Boulder Puppy Club to assist in guide dog training
Volunteers from the Boulder Puppy Club, a group of volunteers who raise puppies from approximately eight weeks old and prepare them to become future Guide Dogs for the Blind, met with RTD bus operator instructors Ike Veiga and Annette MacNeal to provide a unique training opportunity for the puppies and handlers in attendance. Board adopts resolution to eliminate transit-related traffic fatalities and injuries
RTD is bolstering efforts to eliminate traffic fatalities and injuries within its transit operations and infrastructure. During Tuesday night’s Board meeting, RTD’s Directors approved a resolution that outlines agency-specific initiatives related to a Vision Zero strategy. Full story.
