Significant service increases take effect Sunday
RTD will increase its combined weekday bus and rail revenue hours by more than 200 additional hours. Other notable changes include increased frequencies on the E and H lines, a new Art District Connector bus route, reinstating the AB2 between Boulder and the Denver International Airport, and service increases on 15 bus routes across the Denver metro area.The E and H lines will reinstate 15-minute service frequency. RTD is warming up service to carry customers on the coldest days
As RTD prepares for this weekend’s cold, customers should plan ahead by signing up for Service Alerts and bundling up. Bus detours Monday for MLK Marade
Some bus routes will experience minor detours on Monday, due to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. march and parade from City Park to Civic Center Park in Denver.
Called a Marade by organizers, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. march and parade will celebrate its 41st anniversary. The event will begin at City Park (statue of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) and continue west on E. Colfax Avenue to Broadway where a closing ceremony will be held at Civic Center Park.
RTD will operate services according to a regular schedule. However, customers using routes affected by the event can anticipate delays and detours between 10:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., which may also affect scheduled bus and rail connections. Learn more.
