Proposed May 2024 Service Changes

Proposed May 2024 Service Changes

RTD is proposing service changes to take effect May 26, 2024 to increase reliability, improve on-time performance, address seasonal school adjustments, and accommodate the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project.

Below are details on the proposed service changes, the public meetings, and the other methods for providing your feedback to RTD. We are excited to once again be holding some public meetings in person, but you can also join any in-person meeting virtually. We want to hear from you and thank you for participating however you can as your feedback is important to us.

Update:

During the RTD Board Executive Committee meeting on Thursday, March 21, staff announced that revisions and amendments had been made to the previously proposed service changes. The proposed changes, which now include extending light rail’s service hours, reflect community feedback that was received after the Operations and Safety Committee meeting on March 13.

The full list of updates is available for the public’s review starting on packet page 154 of the Board’s March 26 meeting agenda, and the changes are highlighted in the packet to ensure they are not overlooked.
