Crews will replace a gate mechanism and foundation that were damaged by a vehicle incident on Jan. 13. During the work, bus shuttles will be in service to connect customers between affected rail stations. Bus shuttle service will mirror the regular G Line schedule, but times may be affected by local traffic.

Customers may board bus shuttles at the following station gates:

  • Clear Creek•Federal Station – Gate C
  • 60th Ave. & Sheridan•Arvada Gold Strike Station – Gate A
  • Olde Town Arvada – Gate A
  • Arvada Ridge Station – Gate A
  • Wheat Ridge•Ward Station – Gate A

The G Line will operate on its regular, 30-minute schedule between Union Station and Clear Creek•Federal Station.

Regular service on the G Line will resume following completion of the repairs.

During the work, please remember to obey traffic signs and safety measures in place. Train operators maintain the discretion to use train horns under circumstances requiring additional safety precautions and may sound at any other crossing. Please remember to use caution when driving on the roadways during winter weather conditions.

Once work is complete, trains will resume quiet crossings, using horns only when necessary for safety. RTD encourages customers to use its Trip Planner and Next Ride web apps to plan a trip and see bus and train locations in real time. Customers may also sign up for Service Alerts for specific route information. RTD thanks the community for its patience while the repairs are being made.
