RTD seeking feedback on proposed September 2024 service changes

RTD is inviting customers to share feedback about a number of proposed service changes that, if approved, will be implemented in September. Customer feedback is an important step to ensure RTD’s services are responsive to community needs. The proposed changes are formulated to enhance reliability, improve on-time performance, address seasonal school adjustments and accommodate maintenance projects.

Notable proposed changes include restoring 15-minute frequencies on the E and H lines, reinstating service on the downtown L Line, and separating Route 0 into two distinct patterns (Union Station to Englewood Civic Center Station and Englewood Civic Center Station to Highlands Ranch Town Center Station). A full list of the proposed changes is available on RTD’s Service Changes webpage.

Customers, community members and stakeholders are invited to attend an upcoming public meeting to learn more about the proposed changes, ask questions, and share their thoughts.

In addition to attending a public meeting, RTD is offering four additional ways for individuals to provide feedback about the proposed service changes:

  • Send an email to [email protected]
  • Call Customer Care at 303.299.6000
  • Provide public comment at an RTD Board Meeting
  • Complete the online feedback survey by navigating to below the proposed Service Changes page and clicking "Provide Feedback" under the Public Hearings and Feedback Meetings section to access a menu of impacted rail lines and bus routes.

RTD staff will also continue to visit bus stops and rail stations associated with the proposed changes to directly engage with customers and obtain their feedback. RTD invites all customers and stakeholders to share feedback through Friday, June 28, 2024. This information will be shared with RTD’s Board of Directors for consideration during the July meeting cycle.

If approved by the Board of Directors, the proposed service changes will take effect in September, following the conclusion of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project.
