RTD provides service, connections to Empower Field at Mile High for Saturday’s Luke Combs concert

RTD will adapt its services to accommodate the Luke Combs concert scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.

RTD offers numerous transit options for reaching the concert. Two light rail lines provide direct service to Empower Field at Mile High. Commuter rail lines and several bus routes connect to Denver Union Station, allowing for a simple transfer to light rail lines that directly serve the stadium.

RTD is taking the following steps to support the event:

• Adding capacity to regularly scheduled light rail service on the E and W Lines
• While C Line service remains suspended, the agency will operate limited C Line service immediately after the concert
• RTD will add capacity to regularly scheduled rail service for final departures from Union Station at the following times:
• B Line: 12:30 a.m.
• C Line: 2:15 a.m. (special event train; regular C Line service remains suspended)
• E Line: 1:48 a.m.
• G Line: 12:35 a.m.
• N Line: 12:26 a.m.
• W Line: 1:58 a.m.

Rail service

• RTD will add capacity to regularly scheduled rail service for final departures from Union Station
• E and W Lines directly serve Empower Field at Mile High

Bus service

Some local bus routes operate in the vicinity of Empower Field at Mile High:

• Route 30 (South Federal Boulevard)
• Route 31 (North Federal Boulevard)

Several bus routes serve Union Station with a simple transfer to light rail to reach Empower Field at Mile High:

• Flatiron Flyer
• 0, 9, 10, 15, 20, 32
• 120X, LD

The following bus routes serve Decatur●Federal Station, which is a 10-minute walk from Empower Field at Mile High:

• 1, 15L, 16, 31

Helpful tips for events at Empower Field at Mile High

• RTD encourages customers to plan ahead and prepare for large crowds
• Parking for RTD customers will not be available at the Decatur Federal Park-n-Ride between 1 a.m. and 11 p.m. during major events at Empower Field at Mile High
  • During all events with 20,000-plus attendees, Denver zoning and right of way enforcement will be in effect, and parking restrictions will apply
• Purchase a round-trip fare at the ticket vending machines to avoid long lines after the event
• Download the RTD Mobile Tickets app for easy, convenient fare purchase and storage
• Are you a frequent user of the Uber, Lyft and Transit apps? RTD fares can be purchased there, too
