Record Store Day returns tomorrow, offering exclusive vinyl releases, live performances, and a chance for music lovers and collectors to support the region’s independent record stores. Across the Denver metro area, beloved neighborhood shops and hidden gems alike will host sales, special events and early openings.
To make the day easier and more convenient, RTD provides transit access to many participating record stores—no parking stress required.
Wax Trax Records
Accessible via the Route 10 at 12th Avenue and Washington Street
Located in the heart of Capitol Hill, Wax Trax Records has long been a pillar of Denver’s vinyl scene. From rare pressings from the 1950s and 1960s to the latest in rock, pop, hip-hop and metal, the store’s diverse selection draws collectors from across the region. The shop’s prominent location at East 13th Avenue and North Washington Street has made it the premier record store in Denver for decades.
