RTD invites customers to celebrate A Line milestone at appreciation events
RTD and its partners invite the public to celebrate 50 million customers served by the A Line – the commuter rail that connects Downtown Denver to Denver International Airport (DEN). The A Line is reaching this major milestone this month. This achievement highlights the importance of the collaboration between RTD, Denver Transit Partners (DTP) and Denver Transit Operators (DTO) in connecting customers to the world. Debuting in April 2016, the A Line travels 23 miles between Denver Union Station and DEN and remains the most popular RTD commuter rail line.
To commemorate this milestone, RTD, DTP and DTO are hosting a series of events to recognize and celebrate the A Line's success. These events will emphasize the positive impact on the community and reaffirm the partners’ dedication to providing exceptional rail service.
Customer appreciation events will take place at various stations along the A Line with coffee, snacks and commemorative giveaways available for customers:
- Monday, July 15, 3:30 – 5:50 a.m. at Denver Airport Station
- Monday, July 15, noon – 2 p.m. at Denver Airport Station
- Tuesday, July 16, 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Peoria Station
- Wednesday, July 17, 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Central Park Station
- Thursday, July 18, 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Denver Union Station
A news conference will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Denver Union Station, near Track 7 with RTD, DTP, DTO and elected officials.
