RTD Gives collects winter clothing donations for families

RTD Gives, benefiting Broomfield-based nonprofit A Precious Child, is collecting essential warm clothing for children and adults during the cold winter months.

RTD is seeking donations across the metro area to fill RTD’s winter parade bus with new winter clothing items such as coats, gloves, scarves, socks and sweaters that are unworn and still have their tags. The public can drop off donations at three RTD stations on Dec. 14.

RTD’s winter parade bus and staff will visit the following stations specifically on Saturday, Dec. 14, to collect the cold-weather items from the public, engage with the community and answer questions individuals may have about RTD services:

  • 9-10:30 a.m. – Downtown Boulder Station
  • 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Denver Union Station
  • 2:45-4:15 p.m. –Littleton•Downtown Station

All collected items will be delivered to A Precious Child during the week of Dec. 16.For more information about the RTD Gives clothing drive and how you can participate, visit rtd-denver.com. RTD looks forward to seeing members of our community this Saturday!
