Join RTD and Community Partners for Bus to Work Day
In support of Zero Fare for Better Air, local community partners are establishing Thursday, Aug. 18 as Bus to Work Day. Commuters across the region are encouraged to take transit and participate in one or several of the festivities happening throughout the day.
7 - 9:30 a.m. — Decatur-Federal Station
West Corridor TMA, RTD and community partners are talking to customers about transit and resources available to the neighborhood.
7 - 9 a.m. — Table Mesa Park ‘n Ride
Boulder Transportation Connections and Commuting Solutions are providing snacks and good conversation to customers traveling the US36 corridor. Find them on the eastbound platform.
11 - 2 p.m. — Civic Center Plaza
Downtown Denver Partnership, in collaboration with Rising Realty Partners, are celebrating with free food and music. Visit them at the corner of Broadway and 16th Street.
5:30 - 7 p.m. — Seedstock Brewery, West Colfax
Join RTD Board Director Bobby Dishell, District D, for a fun evening discussion about transit.
6 - 9 p.m. — N Line Ride Along
Greater Denver Transit is hosting a round-trip ride on the N Line. Meet at Denver Union Station’s Terminal Bar before riding the train to the Lake Avenue Inn.
During the month of August, there is no need to purchase fares to use any of RTD’s rail, bus, Access-A-Ride or FlexRide services.
