Customers are encouraged to sign up for service alerts to receive notifications about the changes.The D, H and L lines will return to the Downtown Loop and customers are encouraged to exercise caution as the trains resume regular service in the downtown area. ADA focus group takes a ride on a portion of 16th Street Mall to provide feedback on Denver’s new MallRide transitway

On Sept. 23, RTD, the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI), 16th Street Mall Project contractor PCL Construction and the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) invited ADA community members to experience boarding MallRide shuttles and take a ride ahead of bus service returning to a portion of the 16th Street Mall in mid-October. The in-person meeting provided an opportunity for guests to try out the new center-running alignment and provide feedback. It also familiarized MallRide bus operators with accessibility needs of customers with disabilities and vision impairments. Full story.

Save the date: Celebrate 30 years of light rail with family-friendly activities

RTD is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of light rail with festivities to commemorate the inaugural light rail line. Join in for food trucks, activities for the family, a DJ and dancing to tunes from 1994, plus 30th anniversary cake-pops (first-come, first-served). Attend the celebration on Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.at 1514 California St., in the parking lot adjacent to 16th•California Station. Visit map.
