RTD completes downtown rail intersection reconstruction project ahead of schedule

RTD completed reconstruction work on the last of five downtown rail intersections on Aug. 29, three weeks ahead of schedule. Light rail trains will return to the downtown loop beginning Sept. 29 with the next service change. Three small businesses are honored at RTD and partner event

RTD and 12 community partners presented awards to three small businesses during an event Tuesday to highlight opportunities in winning contracts with public agencies. RTD reopens downtown intersections to traffic, extends MallRide to Civic Center on 15th and 17th streets

RTD has resumed the Free MallRide’s service between Denver Union and Civic Center station, following the completion of rail reconstruction work along 17th Street. RTD reopened the final two intersections on 17th street at California and Stout to traffic and pedestrians. Read more.
