August 2024: Ken Pietrovich

August’s Operator of the Month is operator Ken Pietrovich from the Boulder Division. Pietrovich was selected for his professionalism and courtesy operating a Route AB that was standing room only. He went to extra lengths to make sure customers could get their correct luggage quickly by asking them what their bags looked like as they got off the bus, as well as being friendly and thankful to those who made room to allow customers to get off at their destination.

How long have you driven for RTD?

I've been driving for RTD for 4 years.

What were you in a previous life?

I was a scuba diver.

What do you like best about your job?

I enjoy the customer interactions.

If you could listen to music while working, what type would you choose? Classic rock.

What type of service would you drive if given the choice? What is your favorite service to drive or operate?

The Route AB is my favorite route.
