How long have you driven for RTD? Have you always been a bus driver?

19 years as of December 2021.

What were you in a previous life?

I came to RTD After a 5 year run as a Lieutenant in the LaPine Oregon fire department. I was a medic and firefighter. Prior to that I was a GM for RENTX. An equipment and party rental company.

What do you like best about your job?

I've never been one for desk jobs. I really enjoy the freedom of driving. I like getting to know my passengers since many ride every day.

If you could listen to music while working, what type would you choose?

My preferred music is Rock. From classic to new age.

If you could deck out your bus, what style would it be?

My choice of a decked out bus would be along the lines of a limousine. Plush seats. Wifi, TVs, snacks, coffee and non alcoholic beverages.

If you could change your uniform color, what color would you prefer?

Uniforms, I'm good with the black pants and shirt color options. We are not limited to one color.

What type of service would you drive if given the choice? What is your favorite service to drive or operate?

My favorite type of route is regional. The bus is comfortable to drive. My favorite routes, FF1, 2 and 3. Iike the L routes as well.
