Saturday, April 26: Bus shuttles replacing trains between Union Station and Central Park for majority of service day, beginning at 7:00 a.m.

  • Shuttle locations:
    • Union Station (Underground Bus Concourse): Gate B22
    • 38th•Blake: In front of station
    • 40th•Colorado: Gate B
    • Central Park: Gate B3
  • Full-route train service will resume after construction is complete. First full-route train will depart Union Station at 5:00 p.m., and Denver Airport at 5:57 p.m.

Sunday, April 27–Wednesday, April 30: Trains operating every 30 minutes

  • Sunday-Monday: Trains operating on Track 2 between 38th•Blake and Central Park
  • Tuesday-Wednesday: Trains operating on Track 1 at 38th•Blake and 40th•Colorado

Saturday, May 3: Bus shuttles replace trains between Denver Airport and 61st•Peña at start of service day

  • Shuttle locations:
    • Denver Airport (Transit Center on Level 1): Gate 7 (departures) and Gate 6 (arrivals)
    • 61st•Peña: In front of station
  • First full-route train from Union Station departs at 7:30 a.m.
  • First full-route train from Denver Airport departs at 8:27 a.m.
Rail graphic shows slow zones: southbound between Yale and Southmoor, both directions just north of Yale, southbound between Dayton and Southmoor on H Line, and both directions between Dayton and Southmoor on R Line.

Light Rail Speed Restrictions

Speed restrictions are currently in place along short sections of the E, H, and R lines along the Southeast Corridor. The 10 mile-per-hour speed restrictions will be in place until necessary preventative maintenance work is completed. As repairs are made to isolated sections of track, speed restrictions will continue to be lifted. Learn More

RTD's Free MallRide is currently on a long-term detour, operating on 15th and 17th streets between Curtis and Civic Center Station, due to ongoing work related to the 16th Street Mall Project.
