RTD will begin operating Free MallRide shuttle service Sunday, Oct. 13, on a portion of the 16th Street Mall between Union Station and Curtis street. Customers can board the Free MallRide on each of the Mall’s newly opened blocks.
The Free MallRide will continue to provide service to customers on 15th and 17th streets between Curtis Street and Civic Center Station through completion of the 16th Street Mall project in 2025.
With the return of the Free MallRide shuttles to the Mall, RTD encourages pedestrians to be cautious and look both ways when crossing the transitway.
We’ll Take You Everywhere Downtown
The 16th Street Free MallRide can take you to everything to see and do from Union Station to Civic Center Station. Just hop on board. You don’t need a ticket and there’s no fare. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or out for a night with friends, the Free MallRide’s fully electric, battery-powered vehicles can get you there.
