RTD, City and County of Broomfield, and Commuting Solutions celebrated the grand opening of three new Bike-n-Ride shelters at the Broomfield and Flatiron RTD stations yesterday. The occasion was marked with a ribbon cutting and shelter access demonstration at the US•36 Broomfield Station. Broomfield Mayor Guyleen Castriotta and Mayor Pro Tem Deven Shaff shared remarks as well as RTD Board of Directors Chair and District I Director Erik Davidson and Commuting Solutions Executive Director Audrey DeBarros. Zero Fare to Vote days and Trip Planner “Vote” make going to the ballots easy

RTD, in collaboration with the Colorado County Clerks Association, is offering two Zero Fare to Vote days to encourage voter participation in the upcoming election. RTD services will be available at no cost on Tuesday, Oct. 29, National Vote Early Day; and Tuesday, Nov. 5, Election Day. To plan a trip to the ballot box or polling place, Colorado voters can use RTD’s trip planner and enter “Vote” to find the best route to a designated drop box or polling location. Customers can further filter the trip planner results by selecting “Drop Box,” “Early Voting” and “Open Now” and then by clicking on “Drop Box” and/or “In-person Voting.”
