RTD Board of Directors Selects New Officers
The RTD Board selected officers during a special Board meeting Tuesday night. RTD is governed by a 15-member, publicly elected Board of Directors, each of whom is elected to a four-year term and represents a specific district within the RTD service area. Board members elect officers each year to serve for the entire calendar year.
The 2024 officers are:
Chair, Erik Davidson
Director Davidson was appointed to the RTD Board in 2020. He represents District I, which includes Lafayette, all of Broomfield and Erie within RTD’s service area, most of Longmont, a portion of Thornton, and portions of unincorporated Adams County and Boulder County.
First Vice Chair, Peggy Catlin
This is Director Catlin’s fourth time serving as First Vice Chair. She was appointed to the RTD Board in March 2018 and kept her seat in the election later that year. She represents District N, which serves unincorporated Jefferson County and the communities of Evergreen, Conifer, Morrison, Willow Springs and Ken-Caryl Ranch.
Second Vice Chair, Lynn Guissinger
Director Guissinger served as the 2023 Board Chair. She was elected to the RTD Board in 2018. She represents District O, which serves Boulder, Jamestown, Louisville, Lyons, Nederland and Ward, the portion of Longmont west of North 95th Street and south of Mountain View Avenue, all of Superior within Boulder County, and the majority of unincorporated Boulder County, generally lying west of North 95th Street.
Treasurer, Julien Bouquet
Director Bouquet was elected to the RTD Board in 2020. He represents RTD District G, which includes most of Parker and Lone Tree, and portions of Centennial, Aurora and Castle Rock.
Secretary, Michael Guzman
Director Guzman was elected to the RTD Board in 2022 and represents District C, which is centrally located in the northwest portion of the city and county of Denver.
